Beauty Essentials Haul - September 2015

This is a mix of a makeup haul and a beauty essentials, mainly because half of these I am testing for the first time and the others are staples in my makeup collection. I actually bought a lot of these products in August, but I have taken two months off from my blog and youtube channel to focus on myself. However, I am SO excited to start blogging again!

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

Where to start with this product, is the real question. I purchased this mascara in August, whilst on holiday as it was cheaper in duty free, and have used it almost everyday since. Before buying the full sized product I tried to sample version in Elle back in May and finally plucked up to courage to spend £15.00 (RRP: £19.50) on this BEAUTIFUL product. Not only do my lashes look ridiculously curled and big (in a good way), they also look thicker and not clumpy!!! The wand is really long so you can get to the inner eyelashes, but have enough control to ensure that it doesn't go everywhere (I've even tested it on the train).  The packaging for this is also stunning and resembles a 60s curler, which is gorgeous if you're a retro lover like myself. However, it is pricey for a mascara and a REALLY good dupe for this is the Lash Sensational mascara by Maybelline, which is so good and half the price. Yet, I would buy this again if I found it on offer and it seems like it's going to last for a long time!

Bioré Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips

If you have never used a pore strip, you have not lived. Now some of you may be thinking that this is a bit of a disgusting product to buy, however, if you ask anyone who has ever used one they will agree with me when I say that taking one of these off is one of THE most satisfying things in life. I find that my pores in (or on?) my nose and chin get clogged, so I use these once a week to try and get any gunk (ew i know) out of my skin. And holy crap these things work. However, I think that you can get the same results with the Tzone ones, which are half the price, but I highly recommend trying a product similar to these.

Boots Skin Clear Oil-Absorbing Sheets

Fact: My forehead has more oil than Saudi Arabia.
Fact: These absorb that without taking my makeup off.
If you go to my school or have seen me within the past month you will know that these are my new favourite obsession. I'm blotting at school, on the train home, at home, in wagamamas (maybe that was a tad too far but still). THESE THINGS HAVE SAVED MY LIFE! I no longer have to carry around powder as they do they job and are far better for me, as they also contain salicylic acid (good for spots) and don't clog my pores! At £2.50 you can't go wrong.

Baby Lips by Maybelline in Melon Mania

It's safe to say that Baby Lips are a cult favourite among most girls, but things have reached a whole other level with this scent. I LOVE watermelons and the fact that the packaging resembles one and tastes like one; it makes my life. Baby Lips are moisturising, cute and compact and this adds a light sheen rather than a heavy tint which I love for day to day wear! I pop this in my bag and I'm good to go, it's perfect for school and they are constantly on offer so I'd invest!

Barry M Nail Paint, Aquarium Collection, in Pacific and Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Plumpy Top Coat

Oh Barry M, you glorious people, you've done it again. For me, Barry M are my go to for nail varnishes etc as not only are they affordable (cheapest is £2.99-£3.99), they are amazing quality! The majority of my nail collection is from Barry M and the Gelly Nail Paints are my holy grail nail products and they've stepped their game up. The Gelly paints usually last for a week (without top coat) and with minimal chips, but the top coats adds extra gloss, increases staying power and dries really fast. The Aquarium Collection is simply stunning. When I wore this I received so many compliments on my nails and the gorgeous mirror effect of this stunning colour reminded me of the sea (hence they name pacific). Nice one Barry M.

That is it for this post and I probably rambled a lot! There will be a new post next week and hopefully a new video on Sunday so keep your eyes peeled!

Bye xx
