Anyone For Tea?

Image
Since I've started my job I very rarely get time off to spend with my friends, so when myself and 5 friends headed down to London for the day it was a welcome escape. First, of course, my outfit details. I wore a dress from Topshop, which was £12 in the sale, black tights from Primark, black suede boots from H&M, which were £18 in the sale and my black ASOS coat, which was £25.00 in the sale. In short I wore all my new clothes that I got in the sale.  The plan of action was to get into London, go for breakfast in Soho, go to Oxford Street for a bit of shopping and then head to the Ambassador's Bloomsbury Hotel for Afternoon Tea. However, knowing us it didn't quite go to plan. We got into Paddington a bit later than expected and made our way to Soho, in hopes of heading towards The Breakfast Club for breakfast. At this point I thought I was going to have some really cute, tumblr photos for my Instagram. Wrong. We finally found The Breakfast Club, but onl...

What Does Being Successful Mean?

Image
Through education and influences including family and friends throughout our life, we are encouraged to be successful. Personally, I think that's a really good aim to have, however one question has always plagued me... What does being successful mean? For some people it might mean earning a lot of money, having a nice house, having kids or having a high paying job. Especially in the age of social media we can become quite selfish, which can also lead to self-loathing, so I need to remind myself that I am okay. Not only am I okay, but I'm lucky an...

2015 - My Highs and Lows

Image
This post is dedicated to Tilda who kept nudging me to finish this post and has probably been the most excited for it, much love.  As usual, 2015 was full with a lot of highs and lows, however, apart from a few things it was probably the best year of my life so far. So I kicked 2015 off with quite a chill January, nothing particularly exciting happened other than my aunt turning 40, one of my good friends Kaveena, in the middle of the photo above, turned 16 and I finally got my ears pierced. I love my family and they play a huge role in my life and for us all to be in the same room at once was a miracle within itself. Last year a lot of my friends turned 16 or 17 and I am someone who truly cares deeply for my friends and to be able to celebrate with them was amazing! Also, myself and Kaveena have been friends for nearly 3 years now but we became really close last year and it made me so unbelievably happy. So Kaveena if you're reading this I have a lot of love for you...
